The Turkish red crescent began to distribute meat of sacrificial animals in Yemen on the occasion of the Holy Festival of Kurban-Bayrama.
As the representative of the organization in the country Ibrahim UBeid told Anadol, humanitarian aid will cover 15 thousand families in four provinces – Aden, Lahj, AD -Dali and Abyan.
The distribution will last three days. On the first day, June 7, three thousand families in Aden will receive meat. In the next two days, help will reach another 12 thousand in need.
According to UBeid, the project aims to support the most vulnerable categories of the population: poor families forced immigrants, people with special needs and orphans.
