The Turkish Religious Fund (TDV) organized the distribution of sacrificial meat among about 200 thousand in need of Afghanistan.
as part of the action conducted by TDV under the motto, “share sacrificial meat – get closer to your brother”, in five regions of Afghanistan, 1,450 heads of cattle were scored.
After the face of 10,150 shares of sacrificial meat, they were distributed among about 200,000 in need.
Advisor to religious issues at the Turkish Embassy in Kabul Emra Candemir told the Anadolu agency that 5250 shares of sacrificial animals were distributed in Mazari -Sharif, and another 4900 in Kabul, Kandahar and Herat.
According to him, the meat was delivered to orphanages, madrassas and distributed among those in need. Kandemir expressed gratitude to the philanthropists and everyone who has contributed to the organization of the action on the occasion of the holiday of Kurban-Bayram.
