According to sources in the Turkish security forces, Mutla Kajar joined the RSC/YPG in 1997. In 2009, he was engaged in terrorist activities in the Iraqi district of Haftan. During one of the shootings with the security forces, he was injured by his hands and eyes.

In Syria, the RKK terrorists are covered by the names Pyd and YPG, and in the last two years they call themselves “Syrian democratic forces.”
In Iran, RSC acts as “Party of Free Life of Kurdistan” (pjak).
