Turkish women’s team won volleyball

The Turkish women’s team beat rivals from Serbia in the final match of the European Volleyball Championship and for the first time in its history became the winner of the tournament.

The decisive duel was held on September 3 in Brussels.

The meeting ended with a score of 3: 2 (25:27, 25:21, 22:25, 25:22, 15:13) in favor of Turkish.

Bronze medals were won by athletes from the Netherlands, who outplayed the Italian national team with a score of 3: 0 (25:23, 28:26, 25:20).

The continent championship took place on the arenas of Belgium, Germany, Italy and Estonia with the participation of 24 teams

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his wife Emine Erdogan congratulated the Turkish team with historical success.
