The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Turkey and the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Azerbaijan signed the protocol of the 12th meeting of the joint permanent commission and the action plan for 2026-2027.
At the ceremony, the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Turkey Vedasykkhan wished the successful implementation of the protocol. He noted that relations between the two countries, defined as “one nation, two states” continue to develop, and the Shushin Declaration, signed by the presidents by the Presidents, Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Ilham Aliyev, raised them to the level of allied. existing relationships. “The 12th meeting of the joint permanent commission, conducted today, has been facilitating our joint work for 23 years as part of the current cooperation agreement. Among many countries we have the longest and stable commission-this is the mechanism between Turkey and Azerbaijan,” the minister added.

Particular attention is paid to strengthening the ties of the ministries and joint participation on international platforms, including the work of the Center for Labor Cooperation of the OIS in Baku and the Conference “Labor Life and Social Protection in the States of the Turkic World”. In December, Azerbaijan will accept a meeting of labor ministers of the Turkestan Council.
