The fourth energy forum of Turkey and Azerbaijan will be held on September 4 in Izmir.
As the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources of Turkey reported, during the event, the parties will sign a protocol on expanding cooperation in the energy sector.
In the forum will be attended by the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of the Turkish of Alparslan Bayractar, The Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan Pyarviz Shakhbazov, as well as the representative of the President of Azerbaijan on Climate issues and the chairman of COP29 Mukhtar Babaev. The forum provides for bilateral negotiations between the delegations of the two countries.
the work of the forum will be organized through six working groups covering the key areas of interaction: “hydrocarbons and petrochemistry”, “renewable energy”, “electric market, distribution and transmission of electricity”, “regulation”, “energy efficiency” and “mining mining” Industry. “
The signing of the protocol will become the main result of the meeting. The document provides for the strengthening of coordination and cooperation between Turkey and Azerbaijan in regional and international energy organizations and structures.
