Türkiye and UAE strengthen defense cooperation

Turkey and the UAE took a new step towards strengthening defense-industrial cooperation.

According to Anadolu, as part of the 16th International Exhibition of Defense Industry IDEF-2023, an agreement on cooperation was reached in Istanbul in order to create a roadmap for joint activities for business development, a transference of technology and strategic partnerships.

16th International Exhibition of Defense Industry IDEF-2023, which is one of the world’s largest sites to demonstrate the new products of the military-industrial complex, will last until July 28 at the Tüyap exhibition center in Istanbul.

The exhibition was organized for the 16th time of the Ministry of National Defense of Turkey under the patronage of the presidential administration.

This year, 1461 companies from 55 countries take part in the IDEF exhibition.

IDEF is part of the four world’s largest exhibitions of defense industry in terms of the number of participating companies. In addition, IDEF stands out as the world’s largest site for negotiations between defense enterprises.

As in previous years, the new domestic defense industry will be presented within the framework of IDEF. The exhibition will also be presented by modernized versions of previously developed products of the Turkish defense industry.
