Türkiye And United States Are Aimed At Further Development Of Economic Cooperation – Omer Bolat

The Minister of Trade of Turkey Omer Bolat met online with the US Minister of Trade Howard Lutnik and US trade representative Jamison Grire. The Turkish minister reported this in social networks.

The Minister said that he had a thorough conversation with American colleagues in order to develop trade and economic relations between the two countries.

“We emphasized a firm will to further develop economic cooperation between the two countries,” he said.

According to the minister, during the conversation, the two -year -old mutual trade in the amount of $ 100 billion, which was previously announced by Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan and US President Donald Trump, was once again confirmed.

“The goal was also announced to expand mutual cooperation in many areas, including energy, chemistry, automotive industry, textile industry, agriculture, digital economy and infrastructure,” said Bolat.
