The authorities of Turkey and the United States simultaneously freeze the funds of two suspects in financing terrorist organizations. This is stated in the message of the Turkish Foreign Ministry.
The decision was made as a result of a joint investigation of the parties, which established the involvement of these persons in sponsoring terrorism.
The Ministry of Treasury and Finance of Turkey also extended a statement in which the public provided detailed information about the mentioned decision.
“The assets of the network, which was previously recognized as the financing terrorist organization of the Deaash, were simultaneously frozen by two countries on January 5, 2023,” the department said.
The ministry emphasized that Turkey will continue to take effective steps to prevent financing terrorism, interacting in this direction with international partners.
