Türkiye Continues To Deliver Humanitarian Aid To Gaza

Türkiye continues to provide humanitarian assistance to the residents of the Gaza Strip, with the coordination of the Directorate for Disaster Prevention and Disaster Management (AFAD) and the support of relevant government agencies, organizations and NGOs. This is stated in a message on the AFAD account on the social network of the Turkish platform NSosyal.

“Since October 2023, Turkey has delivered a total of 101,725 ​​tons of humanitarian aid to Gaza, using 16 ships and 14 aircraft for this purpose. From July 27, 2025 to the present, 333 trucks with humanitarian assistance,” the publication says.

It is noted that since the ceasefire came into force in the exclave last week, humanitarian assistance operations have intensified. As part of these efforts, 100 truckloads of humanitarian aid, including supplies coordinated by AFAD as well as donations from the Turkish Red Crescent Society and other Turkish NGOs, were delivered to Gaza in cooperation with the Egyptian Red Crescent Society from the port of El Arisha in Egypt to the Karem Abu Salem checkpoint.

On Monday, October 13, additional humanitarian aid supplies are scheduled to be sent from Turkey to the Gaza Strip, including 17 trucks with food, three trucks with blankets and tents.

AFAD emphasized that the agency is working closely with all relevant institutions, organizations and NGOs to meet the humanitarian needs of the residents of the strip Gaza.
