Türkiye Contributes To Development Of Orthopedics And Traumatology In Kazakhstan

The Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) and the Ministry of Health of Kazakhstan organized the “Program for the exchange of experience in the field of orthopedics and traumatology.”

The project was launched in the cities of Astana and Karaganda.

The program involves 14 medical specialists from Turkey. It is aimed at theoretical and practical training of specialists in the field of orthopedics and traumatology, as well as nurses.

The program participants got acquainted with modern methods of treatment in practical classes, based on the consideration of clinical cases and visual demonstrations.

As part of the program, the congress “Modern approaches in the field of world orthopedics and traumatology.”

TİKA coordinator in Astana Fuat Erdogmuş noted that the program is aimed at strengthening cooperation in the field of healthcare between the two countries, improving the qualifications of medical workers and the quality of orthopedic services in Kazakhstan.

“TİKA will continue to contribute to the development of medical services in Kazakhstan Kazakhstan,” he assured.

At the end of the program, doctors were awarded certificates of participation.
