Turkish Agency for Cooperation and Coordination (Tika), with the support of the Association of Can Veren Eller, provided medical services to residents of the state of Western Africa of the Republic of Benin.
According to Tika, the agency continues to contribute to the healthcare sphere of the African continent, organizing medical examinations, trainings for local doctors, teaching new methods used in medicine.
So, in a medical examination conducted for four days in the Republic of Benin, local doctors and nurses took part.
Benin medical workers underwent a course on general surgery and ensuring sterilization.
The program carried out 543 surgical operations, about 1800 examinations and 200 dental procedures.
