The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey expressed condolences in connection with the death of people as a result of the crush that occurred after the explosion of the transformer in the Lyceum named after Barteli Bogonda in the capital of the Central African Republic – Banga.
“We are deeply saddened by the news of the death and injuries of many students in a crush that arose after the explosion of the transformer in the secondary school of Barteli Boganda. We express sincere condolences to the families of the dead and the people of the Central African Republic,” the statement of the department said.
According to local media reports, an explosion of a transformer occurred at the Barteli Boanda Lyceum, as a result of which there was a panic and a crush. The tragedy claimed the lives of 29 students, another 260 people were injured.
