Türkiye is ready to send group of rescuers to Morocco

The Office for the Prevention of Emergency Situations under the Turkish Government (AFAD) reported the completion of the preparation for the sending of the first group of Turkish saviors to Morocco, where a destructive earthquake of magnitude 7 points occurred at night.

In the case of an international signal for help, the Turkish rescuers will immediately go to the disaster zone in Morocco, the department noted.

“In total, at the first stage, 265 employees of various Turkish institutions will go to the region, including AFAD, UMKE, Turkish red crescent and other NGOs. In addition, 1000 tents were prepared for sending,” they communed in AFAD.
