Turkey covers 80 percent of its needs for the products of the defense industry due to domestic developments.
This was stated by the Minister of National Defense of Turkey Hulushi Akar.
“Turkey is able to ensure 80 percent of the needs of its armed forces at the expense of domestic production is not dependent on anyone,” the minister said.
Akar expressed confidence that this trend will develop in growing.
The head of the department also emphasized that the Turkish Armed Forces will continue the uncompromising struggle against terrorist organizations threatening the country’s national security.
