The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey expressed condolences in connection with the death of people as a result of a fire in a shopping center in the city of El-Kut in the east of Iraq.
“I pray to the Almighty for mercy for those who died in this tragic incident, and express our condolences to the Iraqi people,” the diplomatic mission said in a statement.
It was previously reported that as a result of a fire in a shopping center in the city of El-Kut of the East Iraqi province of Vit, 61 people died.
