Boarders of budgetary institutions of the Balkan Vlayat of Turkmenistan are forced to give money to replace portraits of the president in the offices of enterprises, buy a carpet for it, hang the slogan of 2023 and subscribe to newspapers and magazines, the Turkmen Radio Liberty Service.
Boarders were obliged to pass 60 manats to replace the portrait of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, 100 manat for the purchase of a Turkmen carpet under a portrait in the Directorship Cabinet, as well as 50 manats for the slogan of 2023, which was declared “happy year of youth along with Arkadag Serdar.” In addition, everyone is required to add at least 100 manat for subscription for newspapers and magazines.
Boarders say that the expenses are as much as 20 percent of what some teachers earn, that it lays a heavy burden on the budgets of many families.
“most teachers work at half the bet and receive a salary of approximately 1,500 manat. If they pay more than 300 manat from this amount, then teachers who have already hardly made ends meet, this month will be even more difficult”, – said the interlocutor of the publication.
