Turkmenistan and Hungary have entered into political agreement on gas supplies

Budapest and Ashgabat entered into a political agreement on the supply of Turkmen gas to Hungary, and Next in line negotiations between companies. This was announced in his video message by the head of the Hungarian Foreign Ministry Peter Siyyarto.

“from Turkmenistan, political will and political intention is completely clear that Hungary has become one of the directions of potential supplies of Turkmen gas to Europe and one of the transit countries. The political agreement is concluded, now the company is to continue commercial negotiations,” – Sayed Siyuyro, whose words are given by Interfax.

The President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdymuhamedov met on Sunday in Budapest with the Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban.

According to the Turkmen media, special attention in negotiations was paid to the development of interaction in political-diplomatic, energy, industrial and transport-communications, as well as in the field of sports.

The head of Turkmenistan arrived at Budapest on Sunday on a working visit at the invitation of Orban to participate in the events of the main state holiday of Hungary – St. Istwan Day.

Berdimuhamedov will also be among the honored guests of the World Athletics Championship, which takes place in the Hungarian capital.
