Turkmenistan will become full member of Association of Trade and Industry Chambers of Turkic states

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan (TPPT) will become a full member of the Association of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Turkic states. The corresponding decision was made at an extraordinary meeting of the General Assembly of the Association with the participation of managers and representatives of the Turkmen side, the press service of the TPPT reports.

At the meeting that was held in the format of video conferences, the possibilities of developing multilateral cooperation between trade and industrial organizations of the Turkic states and improving relations between business entities and their termination to a new level were discussed.

On the agenda of the meeting, a item was also included on the adoption of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, which previously had the status of an observer, to full members of the association. All participants in the meeting unanimously supported this proposal.

To date, the Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Turkey, are full-fledged members of the Association of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Turkic states. Turkmenistan, Hungary, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus are obserial members.

Association serves as an international platform to strengthen economic ties between Turkic -speaking countries.
