The volume of bilateral trade between Turkey and the European Union is 327 billion dollars. This was said by the chairman of the Council on Foreign Economic Relations of Turkey (Dei̇k) Nail Olpak.
Olpak performed at a briefing organized at the Dei̇k headquarters in Istanbul.

The head of Deik noted that “the process of bilateral trade in Turkey and the EU itself is very balanced.”
At the same time, he noted that the Turkish side has certain comments regarding its course. “We expressed them, we will discuss them,” he added.
Olpak recalled that visa liberalization is one of the key problems in this regard.
He also recalled that in the last 2 years, high -level meetings on an economic dialogue with the European Union have been suspended. According to him, this was due to the “diplomatic position” of the EU.
