Two Light Aircraft Collided In Skies Over Sydney, Killing One Of Pilots

Two light aircraft collided in the skies over south-west Sydney.

One pilot was killed as a result of the accident, NSW State Police said.

According to law enforcement, the collision occurred in the Wedderburn area.

One of the planes crashed in a wooded area, the pilot died on the spot.

The second plane managed to make a safe landing, its pilot was killed injured.

Rescuers and investigators are working at the scene. The causes of the plane crash are being established.
