Two more Azerbaijani wrestlers became European champions

In Bulgarian Plovdiv, the European Championships on the fight against athletes are not over 23 years old.

On the final day of the competition, Azerbaijani Wolnikov won two gold medals and one bronze. Jabrail Hajiyev (74 kg) defeated rivals from Armenia, Austria, Turkey and Romania and for the second time in a row became European champion among 23-year-olds.

Abubacre Abacarov (86 kg), who has overcome fighters from Bulgaria, France, Turkey and Moldova, was the strongest on the continent.

Another medal – Bronze – won Aydin Ahmedov (125 kg). He defeated Armenian, gave way to Georgian, and in the fight for bronze, he took the top over the representative of Greece.

Recall, yesterday our Wolnikov won two gold and two bronze. Zyridin Bayramov (65 kg) and Islam Ilyasov (97 kg) and Islam of Ilyasov (97 kg) were rising to the highest level of the podium (97 kg), and the bronze took the bronze (57 kg) and Ashraf Ashirov (79 kg).

Total Azerbaijani national team won four gold awards in Plovdiv and three bronze.

Earlier, our team in the Greek-Roman struggle mined two gold, silver and two bronze, and the women’s national team of Azerbaijan won one gold, one silver and two bronze awards.
