Chairman of the State Committee for Working with the Diaspora Fuad Muradov met with the world-famous Azerbaijani scientists – the first Azerbaijani mathematician who received the Humboldt Award, Masud Efendiyev and Ferudin Gamdullahpur, who headed the University of Waterloo in Canada in 2011-2021.
According to HaqQin.az, the Chairman of the State Committee highly appreciated the activities of members of the scientific diaspora working abroad, noted that their life and activity serve as an example for the young generation of the diaspora.
During the meeting, information was presented on the “Program of Attracting Mind” by the State Committee, designed to promote Azerbaijani realities, the importance of the participation of scientists worthy of Azerbaijan abroad in diaspora activity was emphasized.
