Two powerful earthquakes occurred in west of Afghanistan

Two powerful earthquakes of magnitude 5.5 and 6.2 occurred in the Province of Herat in the West of Afghanistan.

According to the US Geological Service (USGS), the earthquakes in Herat occurred at about 11:00 local time with an interval of 8 minutes.

Earthly Earthquakes of magnitude 5.5 and 6.2 were 29 and 35 kilometers from the Zinda -Dzhan area. The foci lay at a depth of 11.4 and 10 km, respectively.
