UAE and Iran discussed strengthening of bilateral ties

President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Mohammed Ben Zaid Al Nahayan and Foreign Minister Iran Hossein Amir Abdollahiyan discussed bilateral ties.

According to the Iri Foreign Ministry, Al Nahayan accepted the Iranian Foreign Minister, who went the day before with an official visit to the UAE, to Abu Dhabi.

The parties agreed on coordination, planning and joint actions in order to strengthen bilateral cooperation, mainly in the trade and economic sphere.

The Foreign Minister Iri handed over to Mohammed Bin Zaida an invitation to the Iranian president to make a visit to Iran. In turn, President of the UAE invited Ebrahim Raisis to visit his country.

During the meeting, the parties discussed international and regional issues, as well as ways to improve bilateral cooperation.

Iranian Foreign Minister, after taking office, first visited the UAE in June 2021. In previous days, he held negotiations in Qatar, Oman and Kuwait.
