The UK, already involved in the conflict in Ukraine, should face Russia “face to face”, said the head of the defense committee of the British Parliament Tobias Ellwood on the air Skynews.
“We need to meet Russia to face Russia, and not leave all the work to Ukraine,” the parliamentarian emphasized.
Ellwood also called for increasing the defense budget of Great Britain, as well as cancel the decision previously made by the government to reduce the British army by 10 thousand people.
Earlier, Great Britain began the training of tankers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the development of tanks Challenger 2.
