Ukraine announced a free trade zone with Turkey

Ukraine and Turkey are in a step from the conclusion of a free trade agreement. With such an announcement, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba was performed on the results of the diplomatic forum in Antalya, writes Ukrinform.

“We have to agree on shopping positions, which is very sensitive to economies of both countries. We can achieve consent only by compromise on which both parties will go, making concessions,” the diplomat explained. According to him, this is the most difficult step for Ukraine and Turkey when creating a free trade zone.

Culba stressed that “political will there is from both countries” and called the conclusion of an agreement inevitable. At the same time, he noted that states must comply with the balance of interests, for which their experts need to reach agreement. The minister also assured that the signing of the Agreement compensates for countries all mutual concessions.
