Russian troops on the night of December 17 struck the territory of Ukraine with 20 drones and two missiles. This was reported by the command of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the report, the winged rocket launched from the Iskander-K complex, “did not reach the goal.” According to the Ukrainian military, the X-59 missile managed to knock down, as well as all 20BPPAs.
According to defense forces of the south of Ukraine, one of the shot down drones, fell on a private residential building in the Odessa district and exploded. As a result of the incident, one person died, residential buildings and economic construction were damaged.
According to defense forces of the south of Ukraine, 16 drones were shot down in their area of responsibility – seven in the Kherson region and nine in the Odessa region.
