The Minister of Defense of Ukraine Alexei Reznikov expressed confidence that his country would receive more from the USA Himars, including rockets with a radius of action of 300 kilometers. Reznikov said this in an interview with the British newspaper Financial Times.
According to the publication, Reznikov announced the confidence that Ukraine will be provided with a larger number of long -range systems, in particular, American reactive systems of volley fire, known as Himars. “The United States did not want to send Himars, which have a range of 80 kilometers and ammunition with the GPS nation, fearing that such a step can lead to escalation. Reznikov said that he was sure that the partners will send more, including the version with the radius of action 300 kilometers, ”the newspaper said.
Earlier, the United States transferred eight mobile launchers on the Himars of the Himars wheel chassis. It is planned that four more such installations will be transferred to Ukraine.
