Kiev officially demanded from Turkey to limit the passage of military ships of Russia through the Bosphorus Straits and Dardanelles, write Ukrainian media.
Ankara confirmed the official appeal of Kiev.
Turkey Foreign Minister Mevlyut Chavushoglu said that Turkey as a warning side of the Montreux Convention may close the straits for warships of warring states. But even in this case, Russia has the right to pass strait – to return the military fleet to the base, writes “Echo of Moscow”.
