Ukraine Received Another Tranche From IMF

The Council of Executive Directors of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) on June 30 approved the eighth revision of the expanded financing program (EFF) and approved the allocation of the next tranche in the amount of 500 million US dollars. This is stated in the message of the National Bank of Ukraine.

The funds in the equivalent of 0.37 billion SPZ will be aimed at supporting the state budget. After their receipt, the total amount of financing under the EFF program will reach $ 10.6 billion.

According to the NBU, Ukraine continues to successfully comply with the program parameters: all quantitative criteria for the end of March have been achieved, structural beacons have been made, and new ones have been established, taking into account the terms for the implementation of key reforms.

Kyiv asked to change the payment schedule for 2025, while the total volume of the program remains the same – $ 15.5 billion.
