The Russian army has sharply increased the number of attacks with guided aerial bombs on the territory of Ukraine. This is stated in the message of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, posted on the Telegram channel.
According to the message, in October, Russian troops significantly increased air attacks, sharply increasing the number of strikes with guided aerial bombs on the positions of the Ukrainian military and front-line cities.
It is noted that over the past month, the Russian army dropped 5328 guided aerial bombs on Ukrainian positions, which is the highest figure since beginning of 2025.
In just ten months of this year, Russian troops dropped about 40 thousand aerial bombs, which is equal to the total number for the entire year 2024, the Ukrainian department noted.
