Ukraine to let into country only with a negative test for Covid-19

The authorities of Ukraine decided to allow the country to cross the border of the country only to those who have a certificate of negative test results for coronavirus, the corresponding decree entered into force on March 22. This was announced by the head of the Ukrainian Ministry of Health Maxim Stepanov, RIA Novosti reports.

According to him, the certificate of testing by the PCR method should be in any cases, regardless of which epidemiological situation has developed in the country where a person who wanted to be in the Ukrainian territory. The test must be made no later than 48 hours.

Stepanov also clarified that the corresponding decision initiated by the Ministry of Health was taken on Monday, on March 22, at an extraordinary meeting of the Government of Ukraine.

Earlier at the Institute of Molecular Biology and Genetics (IMBG) of the National Academy of Sciences (National Academy of Sciences), Ukraine said that the country found new dangerous mutations of the British strain of coronavirus, which could contribute to the rapid dissemination of infection in the Ukrainian territory in recent weeks.
