Ukraine will put Turkey engines for new drone

Ukrainian State Enterprise “Ivchenko-Progress” and Turkish company Baykar Makina signed an agreement on the supply of engines produced in Ukraine for drones of Turkey. The contact was signed as part of the SAHA EHPO exhibition in Istanbul, Ukrinform reports.

According to the technical director of Baykar Makina, Khaluca Baiktara, there has been effective cooperation between the companies for many years. So, the Turkish drones of AKINCI are already installed engines produced by Ivchenko-Progress, their mass production has begun. The signed agreement will be the beginning of the production of unmanned combat aircraft.

Ukrainian enterprise will supply a turbojet two-circuit engine with an airborne chamber AI-322F. Details of the transaction are not disclosed.
