UN announced continuation of negotiations on grain transaction

Negotiations on the extension of the agreement on the Black Sea grain corridor continue. This was stated by the press secretary of the Secretary General of the UN Stefan Duzharrick.

“It is obvious that we are at a delicate stage,” said Dujarrick at a briefing.

According to him, the contacts between the interested parties are carried out at various levels.

Dujarrick, adding that the Secretary General Antoniu Gutherresh is informed about the development of the situation.

He said that Gutherrish was discussing the issue of Martin Griffith – Deputy General Equipment of the UN on humanitarian issues and coordinator of emergency assistance in the UN.

The UN representative expressed the hope that all participants in the transaction will adhere to their obligations within the framework of the agreement.

Earlier, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov said that Russia will inform about its decision on a grain transaction when it will be adopted. ..
