“We do not have direct information on the issue of attacking the Azerbaijani embassy in London. We followed what happened based on the materials that were held in the media.” This was announced by the Representative of the UN Stefan Duzhzharik about this, commenting on the attack on the Azerbaijan Embassy in London.
“Our position in this matter is standard – diplomatic missions should be inviolable and they need to be respected,” he said.
Stefan Duzhzharik also noted that, judging by the news, representatives of the UK are taking appropriate measures.
Recall that on August 4, members of the radical religious group attacked the administrative building of the Azerbaijan Embassy in the UK. The radicals removed the state flag of Azerbaijan from the embassy and made a pogrom.
The responsibility for the attack was taken by the Shiite extremist organization Union of Mahdi ministers. The organization was created by Shiite clergymen – immigrants from Kuwait.
