The number of civilians who died as a result of the conflict in Ukraine exceeds 9.2 thousand.
This was stated at a meeting of the UN Security Council in Ukraine, Deputy Secretary General of the World Organization for Political Issues of Rosemary Dicarlo.
Dicarlo emphasized that from the beginning of the war in Ukraine 9,287 civilians were killed, including 537 children.
The number of victims reaches 16,384 people, of which 1,117 children.
Dicarlo noted that we are talking only about confirmed cases, the present number of victims is much higher.
The number of refugees from Ukraine is 6.3 million people, internally displaced persons – 5.1 million people, she said.
