UN Permanent Representative: Russia has nothing to celebrate on Victory Day

Russia has nothing to celebrate on Victory Day, the USN Ambassador to the UN Linda Thomas-Girinfield said on the eve of the CNN television channel.

President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky and other officials recently warned that Russian attacks could intensify before Victory Day. It was reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin, perhaps, wants to announce some triumph in Ukraine when he will contact the participants of the parade on Red Square.

“They have nothing to celebrate tomorrow. They could not defeat Ukraine. They could not share the world or divide NATO. They only managed to isolate themselves in the international arena and become a game state around the world,” she said.
