UN Secretary General congratulated Erdogan on re -election to presidency

The UN Secretary General Antoniu Gutherrish congratulated Recep Tyip Erdogan on a re -election to the post of head of state, according to preliminary voting results on May 28, 2023.

The representative of the UN Secretary General Stefan Duzharrik said in this regard that Guterres “is looking forward to further strengthening cooperation between Turkey and the UN.”

The chairman of the Supreme Electoral Council of Turkey Akhmet Jener announced that the winner of the second round of the presidential elections, following the results of the calculation of the vast majority of ballots, is the current head of state Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

According to him, according to the results of the counting of 99.43% of the ballots, Recep Tayyip Erdogan scored 52.14% of the vote, and Kemal Kylychdaroglu – 47.86%.
