The UN Security Council interrupted a meeting in the video conferencing format, which discussed the situation in Kosovo, due to the fact that the representative of the region acted against the background of the Kosovo flag. It is reported by RIA “News”.
Note made Deputy Permanent Representative of Russia at the UN Dmitry Polyansky. He stressed that Kosovo is not all recognized state.
“As you know, Kosovo is not recognized by all the state. This is the territory. And eight member members do not recognize Kosovo as a state,” said Russian representative.
He asked a representative of Kosovo to change the background or remove the flag. At the same time, Polyansky stressed that Russia does not oppose the participation of representatives of Kosovo in the meeting.
