Under Mariupol killed 10 Greeks. Ambassador of Russia summoned to Greek Foreign Ministry

Military actions in Ukraine led to the death of civilians of third countries. “Ten innocent civilians – ethnic Greeks – today were killed as a result of the strikes of Russian aviation near Mariupol.” This was written by Prime Minister of Greece Kiriakos Mitsotakis in his Twitter on Saturday, February 26.

“Immediately stop bombing!” – he added.

According to Reuters, the incident occurred in the village of Village Bugas and Sartan in the Donetsk region. The head of the Greek government called the tragedy “invalid act of attacking Russia” on civilians. Consulate of Greece in Mariupol remains open to help, he noted.

Also, Greek’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed a sharp protest of the Ambassador of Russia in Athens and summoned it on February 28 to the ministry.
