Unexpected results of parliamentary elections in Czech Republic

In the Czech Republic ended with the parliamentary elections. ANO movement ( “action disgruntled citizens”), which is headed by 67-year-old prime minister Andrej Babiš, lost its parliamentary majority. The Communists were not able to get into parliament for the first time since the Second World War. The new government will form the opposition coalition. It is reported by BBC News.

They scored 15.54%. The Communist Party received less than four percent of the vote, not overcome the five percent threshold for a party to enter parliament.

The movement ANO Babishov was the leader of the electoral rating of 22 parties and associations. However, the majority of the votes, although by a small margin in the share of interest, ultimately went to the coalition “Together”.
