United States allocated 300 million dollars of “Extraordinary Military Assistance” to Ukraine

The US administration announced that despite the lack of funds in the Pentagon budget allocated to Ukraine, he will send Kyiv a package of “Extraordinary Military Support” in the amount of $ 300 million,

US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan announced the details of new assistance to Ukraine at a press conference in the White House.

Sullivan said that although the Pentagon’s budget for Ukraine has been exhausted, and additional assistance of $ 60 billion, requested to support this country, has not yet been accepted by congress, it is urgent to help Kyiv.

Sullivan on this occasion said: “Ukraine does not have enough ammunition for use. This leads to losses of territory and lives on Earth. It also imposes strategic costs on the USA and NATO alliance.”

The American politician noted that emergency military aid in the amount of $ 300 million, which will be aimed at Ukraine, will help the Ukrainian army only for a short time, but will not last long, so the bill on the additional budget, which is under consideration in the Congress, should be adopted as soon as possible.

This assistance package will become the first military assistance, which the United States will be sent to Kyiv from December, when the funds in the budget allocated to support Ukraine.
