United States and Poland extended agreement on mutual procurement in field of defense

The United States and Poland decided to extend the agreement on mutual purchases in the field of defense.

This was reported on Friday by the Ministers of Defense of the two countries of Lloyd Austin and Mariusz Blashchak.

“Today I would like to discuss how we can achieve more progress in the further strengthening of our knot. I look forward to the extension of our agreement on mutual purchases, which will deepen our cooperation in the military -industrial sphere now and for the prospect,” – Austin said at a meeting with the Blashcac in the Pentagon.

In turn, the head of the Polish military department recalled that Warsaw intends to purchase from Washington, in particular, such military equipment as fifth generation fighters, F-35, reactive systems Himars, Patriot air defense systems and Abrams tanks.

According to Austin, relations between the USA and Poland are strengthened.

“We highly appreciate everything that Poland does for the sake of our overall security,” the head of the US Ministry of Defense assured.
