The statement notes that these agreements are historical and transformative for both countries and are a new “golden century” of partnership between the United States and Saudi Arabia.

The statement notes that sales that are planned to be completed are divided into five categories: the development of the Air Force and space potential, air defense and missile defense, security at sea and in the coastal zone, borders and modernization of the ground forces, as well as updating information and communication systems.
“This Agreement is significant investments in defense and regional security of Saudi Arabia based on American systems and training,” the message says.
The agreement also includes comprehensive training and support to increase the potential of the Saudi armed forces.
