United States can transfer its helicopters and aircraft to Uzbekistan and Tajikistan

The United States negotiating with Uzbekistan and Tajikistan on the transfer of almost 50 military aircraft that managed to remove from Afghanistan last summer, in exchange for help in the fight against terrorism in this country, writes Politico.

Politico emphasizes that the fate of these 46 aircraft remains in limbo for more than a year. The Taliban insist that they belong to Afghanistan, and demand them to be returned. The authorities of Uzbekistan say that the aircraft belong to the States.

One of the sources of the newspaper emphasized that in the future, aircraft can be transferred to Uzbekistan and Tajikistan in exchange for an unofficial agreement on “deepening relations in the field of security” in the framework of borders and combating terrorism.
