The United States on Tuesday expanded sanctions against Russia, announcing the ban on Russian gold imports and adding 70 legal entities and 29 individuals to the sanctions list. About this, as the European Pravda writes, said the US Department of Finance.
From the moment the decision is made, it is immediately prohibited by the import of Russian -made gold into the United States, with the exception of permits issued by the Office for Monitoring of Foreign Assets or in cases provided for by law. It is noted that gold is the largest export product of Russia with the exception of energy carriers.
sanctions also belong to 29 legal entities closely related to the defense sector of Russia. This, in particular, is Rostec Corporation, which is engaged in a wide range of developments in the defense, aviation and transport industries, the United Aircraft Building Company, Tupolev, Kapo-Autotrans, Kapo-VilbitService, Irkut Corporation , “KAMAZ”, etc.
The restrictions also fell into Russian companies and organizations participating in the war against Ukraine – the “Union of Volunteers of Donbass” and 16 of its members, in particular Alexander Borodai and Andrei Pinchuk, “State Flight -test center named after Chkalov”, private military companies “RSB-group” and its director Oleg Krinitsyn.
