The United States imposed sanctions against officials of Belarus, the press service of the State Department said.
“The State Department, according to the Decree of the President No. 8015, announces the application of visa restrictions on 25 people for their participation in the threat of democracy,” the statement said.
The State Department said that among the sanctions there are deputies of the Belarusian parliament.
It is noted that visa restrictions today are applied to 322 persons.
