The USA is going to announce the name of a new ambassador in Russia soon, the representative of the US State Department told the Russian media.
“We intend to declare our next ambassador in the near future, but at the moment we have nothing to report. At such moments, it is extremely important that the diplomatic contacts between Washington and Moscow continue to resolve tense situations,” the official from the State Department said.
Recall that earlier yesterday, September 4, the US Embassy in Russia reported that Ambassador John Sullivan completed his work in this position and left Moscow.
