US President Donald Trump announced that he would increase taxes by 100 percent if Russia does not reach an agreement with Ukraine within 50 days.
Trump spoke at a press conference in the White House, where he accepted the Secretary General of NATO Mark Rutte.
US President Trump said: “I am not at all satisfied with Russia. If they do not reach an agreement (with Ukraine) within 50 days, we will increase tariffs by 100 percent.”
The president continued with the words: “Today we concluded a deal to send weapons to Ukraine. The US will produce this weapons, and NATO allies will cover expenses. We send the highest level weapons to Ukraine. Deliveries will coordinate NATO.”
The Secretary General of NATO Rutte in his speech noted: “The US decision on the supply of weapons to Ukraine is very important. I will discuss this with European states, and we will prepare containers with military assistance for Ukraine. In this process I was perceived more seriously in negotiations with Ukraine due to the presence of Russian President Vladimir Putin.”
Trump before the visit of the Secretary General NATO Rutte to Washington published a publication on the social media platform Truth Social.
Having stated that “friends have ripped off the United States on military and commercially for decades,” he emphasized: “It cost trillion dollars and is no longer acceptable. And it has never been so.”
